And to think day shift is hard.
Last night i did my first ever night shift in chili's. The orders kept coming in and i had no time to take a break.
Best part is that we had to clean up after we finished, and there is a lot to clean. The six of us to clean the whole restaurant. We were supposed to close and start cleaning up around 10 30, but ended starting it at 11 30 due to the fact that there were still customers coming at 11!
We finished cleaning up around two in the morning. After that we sat in a van, which is hired by the restaurant, to take us home. So the first one to go is Lena. She lives in Batu Feringghi and it was a one hour drive to drop Leonard off at his place and another half hour to get to my place. So with a bit of math i can calculate that i reached home at three thirty in the morning! Arrgh, and i have to wash my apron and try and tend to love matters between my friend and his love interest and still wake up tomorrow and do other chores if necessary in the house. All in all after to tending to the first two items i slept around five in the morning. That's five hours of sleep. And there is no maid to help clean the room. Which also bring the news that I'm taking a break from work to take care of the house and my two sisters. My grandmother has been here for the whole while taking care of the place and now she has to go back all the way down to Port Dickson to prepare for Chinese New Year. Yay. Now college sounds very appealing. Haha.
Ah well. Today's another day working in the restaurant named Chili's in the night shift, until the place closes. Guess I'll get off the com and get some extra sack time.
